The last couple of posts have been about the new baby, so what's new with Sophia these days? Several weeks ago Sophia got to bring home Leo the Lion from daycare for the week. The kids all take turns bringing Leo home to take care of him. Here are some pics of Sophia and Leo.

Not long after having Leo home for a week Sophia and I headed up to Sheboygan for a girls weekend with Mamaw, Becky, Ryanne and baby Abigail. Mother-daughter vacations became an annual tradition about 13 years ago. We took at few years off, but resurrected the tradition this year and it was our first mother-daughter vacation with 3 generations :) We spent the weekend at Blue Harbor resort and Sophia of course loved the waterpark!
After seeing Mamaw go down the big tunnel slide Sophia decided she wanted to go too. That's my little dare devil.
After our girls weekend, Sophia headed back to Peoria with Mamaw and spent the week there. She had a great time with everyone as always. On the final day of her week with Mamaw I received a call asking if I knew what my daughter did that morning. Knowing my mom had just redone her living room with light furniture a vision of permanent markers and her new couch flooded my mind and a moment of panic rushed over me. My mom then filled me in that Sophia decided to cut her own hair. I never thought I'd feel relief to learn that my daughter cut her own hair, but at least hair grows back! So when you let your 3 year old go to Mamaw's donning long beautiful locks, here is what you get back...
When the lady at the hair salon mentioned that Sophia had enough hair to donate (even despite what she had alreay cut off) we said go for it!
Ta-da! A cute new do and a hair donation...we lucked out and got a whole pitcher of lemonade out of these lemons.
With this little adventure I found a new salon to take Sophia to and she loved it. As you can see they have lots of fun with the kids.
And here are our other new babies...Bailey (the black kitty) and Bogey. They are so cute and Maya is actually doing pretty good with them (usually). Now if I could just get Bailey to stop licking my nose and eyelids at 4am every morning. She must be trying to get me ready for the schedule of a newborn again.
