Easter Fun!

We've had a busy couple of weeks lately. With the stretch of warm weather we made sure to get out and enjoy some fresh air. Here's Sophia taking her wagon for its maiden voyage outside...
Lauren came over to play with Sophia a few weeks back.  It is so cute to see the girls starting to be able to really play together.  Here they are having a tea party...
And here's Lauren leading Soph back into the playroom after she went exploring.  Too cute :)
Sophia has been such a busy girl lately.  She's learning all types on new skills and has recently taken up cleaning the shower!

We went to IL for Easter and had a great time.  Andy has been busy studying for weeks for his Project Management Certification (a 4 hour test - ugh!) and just before Easter he took and passed the test (way to go Andy!) so Easter was the first opportunity we've had in a while to relax and have fun as a family.
Here's Sophia checking out her baskets Easter morning.
Of course Sophia got bubbles in her Easter basket.  Andy and Soph decided to try them out right away.
Celebrating Easter at Sophia's great grandma's house...
I think my baby looks so adorable in this dress.
Enjoying Easter dinner...
Hanging out with Guncle Keekee (that's just for you Kev!)
A glimpse of the future??
I think it's now safe to post that Kevin and Emily are engaged! We are so excited for them. The wedding is planned for November, so Sophia has just under 8 months to perfect her flower girl strut.  Can't wait for the big day!
And while hanging out at grandma's last weekend we learned that Sophia's new favorite place to hang out is in Chloe's bed.  Chloe would be Kevin's cat...yeah, I know, but even in a cat bed she's cute!

Sophia has been talking so much lately too.  She has been trying to repeat everything.  Over Easter we learned that her new favorite word is "no".  And grandma taught her to say "no, no, no" while shaking her finger.  She has also been learning her daycare teachers' names.  One of her teachers is Becca...or as Sophia say "Beppa."  When I dropped Soph at daycare on Tuesday I told her teacher Ashley about Sophia's new favorite word.  She said that Sophia had started saying "no" at daycare too, and the other day Becca had asked Sophia something to which Soph replied, "No, Beppa, no!"

More pictures of outdoor fun to come soon!
